Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using OpenLaneGrants, a service of Clean Freight Consultants Inc., you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What OpenLaneGrants provides

OpenLaneGrants provides grant and tender matching based on a human-verified database, and optional AI-assisted application drafting for a one-time fee. We provide informational and preparatory assistance only — you are responsible for reviewing and submitting any application yourself.

3. No guarantee of results

Please read this section carefully before subscribing or purchasing drafting for a specific application:

• We help you find and apply for grants and tenders — we do not run, operate, or control these programs in any way. We cannot guarantee that any application will be approved, funded, or successful. Funding decisions are made solely by the granting organization.
• Grant and tender programs can close, change their eligibility rules, reduce their funding amounts, or run out of allocated funds entirely, at any time — including after a program has been shown to you as currently open. We verify status as carefully as we can, but we do not control the programs themselves and cannot guarantee a program will remain open or funded through your application process.
• Subscription and drafting fees are charged for the matching and drafting work we perform, not for a funding outcome. This is true even if a program closes, changes, or runs out of funding after you've paid.
• You are responsible for reviewing and submitting your own application. We prepare drafts and guidance; we do not submit anything on your behalf.

4. Subscriptions and billing

The Grant & Tender Finder subscription is billed monthly and renews automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

5. One-time drafting fees

The application drafting fee is a one-time charge per application, payable before drafting begins. Because this fee covers work performed on your behalf, it is generally non-refundable once drafting has started. If you have a concern about a specific charge, contact us at billing@openlanegrants.com and we'll work with you in good faith.

6. Accuracy of information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide in your business profile and any application content. We draft content based on what you tell us; we do not independently verify facts about your business, and any application submitted under your name is your responsibility to review before submission.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the information and content you submit to OpenLaneGrants. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to provide the matching and drafting services you've requested.

8. Not legal, tax, or financial advice

OpenLaneGrants provides grant-matching and application-drafting assistance. Nothing we provide constitutes legal, tax, or financial advice, and you should consult the appropriate professional for advice specific to your situation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Clean Freight Consultants Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of OpenLaneGrants, including a denied or unsuccessful grant application. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to OpenLaneGrants for violation of these terms or misuse of the service.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of OpenLaneGrants after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
